Kristen O’Halloran

Kristen is a January-Capricorn, first-born daughter, and empath-extrovert.

Her initial journalistic aspirations were eclipsed by a rehabilitative experience following an orthopedic surgery just ahead of college application season, and her pursuit of a career in Physical Therapy began with undergrad studies in Eugene, Oregon, through graduate school in the mountains of western North Carolina. Early in her career, she found a passion for acute post-operative rehabilitation - finding great fulfillment in making an immediate impact in people’s lives, function, and mobility in the hours and days following joint-replacement surgery.

Kristen has been on a leadership path since her earliest days - as a (likely bossy) eldest sister and cousin, as a Physical Therapist establishing treatment plans for her patients, and as a clinician designing and implementing innovative transformation of systems and protocols. In the past 21 years, she sought and achieved advancing leadership positions in both the rehabilitative field and then in larger interdisciplinary healthcare leadership roles.

Kristen has a gift for connection, for seeing and celebrating the strengths of the people she spends time with, and for leading alongside her colleagues. She thrives in environments that are encouraging, supportive, and fun, thus is highly attuned and intentional about fostering the same for the successful teams she builds and leads.

She currently resides in Portland, Oregon, with her own first-born daughter, Eloise, and their cat, Jeter. She is a culcitologist (quilter), womens-sports fan, and still an aspiring writer.
